ChoicePahokee Middle School offers three Choice Programs.

International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program

The International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IBMYP) is for students in grades 6–10 and provides a framework of academic challenge and life skills appropriate to this stage of adolescence. The IBMYP offers a holistic approach that emphasizes critical thinking skills, global citizenship, and intercultural awareness, as well as traditional school subjects. The curriculum consists of eight subject groups explored through six global contexts: identities and relationships, orientations in space and time, personal and cultural identity, globalization and sustainability, fairness and development, and scientific and technical innovation.

Pre-Information Technology
The Pre–Information Technology program offers an innovative, integrated learning environment focused on computers, technology, and communications. Emphasis is placed on a college preparatory curriculum directly linked to career pathways in the IT career cluster.

Our goal at Pahokee Middle High school is to present and expose many if not all of our students into inclusive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities and projects in an innovative way in order to increase student self-efficacy, motivation, and create positive attitudes towards STEM subjects. Through participation in FIRST LEGO League Robotics and FIRST TECH CHALLENGE, our students are introduced to real-world problems and multiple complex tasks where our students as a team had to research solutions to the problem and design an innovative solution to the existing real-world problem.
Each year we participate in the Choice Program Showcase  at the South Florida Fairground and the Glades Area Showcase at The West Tech Educational Center or online Virtually.
