International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (MYP) (6th-10th)

The International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IBMYP) is for students in grades 6-10 and provides a framework of academic challenge and life skills appropriate to this stage of adolescence. The IBMYP offers a holistic approach that emphasizes critical thinking skills, global citizenship, and intercultural awareness, as well as traditional school subjects. The curriculum consists of eight subject groups explored through six global contexts: identities and relationships, orientations in space and time, personal and cultural identity, globalization and sustainability, fairness and development, and scientific and technical innovation. It encourages students aged 11 to 16 to make practical connections between their studies and the real world, preparing them for success in further study and in life.
